Obituary For William Patrick Prosser

William Patrick Billy Prosser, 19 of New Smyrna Beach, Fl, died September 28th at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, after a lifelong battle with biliary atresia. He was a 2012 graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School and was enrolled at Daytona State College where he was elected Class President of the New Smyrna Beach Campus. He is survived by, his parents, Patricia Socha and Larry Prosser; his brother, Robert all of New Smyrna Beach; a sister Larisa Rosenberg of Marietta, Ga; maternal grandparents Ernest and Elizabeth Socha of East Providence and Warren, RI; paternal grandparents, Bruce Prosser and Ray & Jean McGinnis of Statesboro, GA, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren, RI, where a funeral service will be held, Thursday October 10th at 10am. Burial will be private. I am so sorry for your loss. No parent should ever have to lose a child. Our loving Creator knows how hard this is on you. We are told at Ezekiel 18:32 â??â??for I do not take any delight in the death of someone dying, is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord .â?? As you can see, He does not like death anymore than we do. It is not his will for us to die which is why He has given us the hope of everlasting life! (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Rev. 21:3, 4). As the God and Father of tender mercies, He wants you to find comfort in Him through prayer (2Cor 1:3).
