Zenaide Maria (Raposo) Rufino, age 71, of Warren, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023, at Rhode Island Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Manuel Rufino.

Born in St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and the late Maria (Raposo) Bernado.

Her devotion to her family and faith were her biggest passions.

She was a true communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle where she devoted her time to God. Whether Zenaide was at the church or at home she was always surrounding herself with her beliefs.

In addition to her husband Manuel of Warren, she is survived by her son Steven Rufino and his wife Christina; grandchildren Kiana Rufino and Ethan Rufino; her siblings Armando Raposo and Eduardo Raposo and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Manuel Raposo, João Raposo and Viriato Raposo.

Services are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where the family will receive relatives and guests on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from 4-7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 11AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Ave, Warren, RI 02885. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol, RI 02809
